Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Gold Boss Academy collects, why we use it, how we protect it, and the choices available to you. It also explains our optional Google Calendar integration.

Google Calendar connection is optional. If you connect Google Calendar, we use the permissions you approve only to provide the calendar-sync feature you requested. You can disconnect it at any time.

1. Scope and who we are

This policy applies to Gold Boss Academy websites, member portals, learning tools, communications and related services operated under the Gold Boss Academy brand, including services available through goldbossacademy.com and its subdomains.

Gold Boss Academy provides trading education, live sessions, member resources and tools, community features, paid membership, broker-linked complimentary access, affiliate/referral features and optional integrations such as Google Calendar.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account and profile information, such as your name, email address, password credentials in protected form, timezone, profile settings and contact information.
  • Membership information, including plan, access status, course progress, attendance, preferences and support requests.
  • Payment and transaction information, such as payment provider, transaction status, plan and billing history. Payment card details are normally handled by the relevant payment provider rather than stored directly by Gold Boss Academy.
  • LivvFX/broker-linked access information you submit to establish or maintain eligibility for complimentary membership, including referral source, account or funding status and related application details.
  • Affiliate and referral information, if applicable, including affiliate code, custom page, referral attribution, broker link and lead status.
  • Communications you send to us, including support messages, form submissions and other correspondence.

Information collected automatically

When you use our sites or portal, we may collect technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, pages viewed, login activity, security events, cookies and similar diagnostic information.

3. Google Calendar and Google user data

Gold Boss Academy offers an optional Google Calendar connection so a member can sync Gold Boss Academy sessions and events with a personal Google Calendar.

When you choose to connect Google Calendar, Google presents its own OAuth permission screen. Depending on the permissions you approve, Gold Boss Academy may receive or process:

  • an OAuth authorization token and related connection information;
  • basic calendar/account metadata needed to maintain the connection; and
  • calendar event data required to create, update, identify or remove Gold Boss Academy events that are synced through the feature.

We do not receive your Google password. We do not use Google Calendar data to build advertising profiles, sell data, determine creditworthiness, or train general-purpose AI models.

Google user data is used only to provide or maintain the member-facing calendar-sync functionality you requested, for security, or where required by law. We do not allow human access to Google user data except where you specifically ask for support involving that data, where necessary for security/abuse investigation, or where required by law.

Limited Use: Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Disconnecting Google Calendar

You can disconnect the integration from Gold Boss Academy where the disconnect option is provided, and you can also revoke Gold Boss Academy's access from your Google Account's third-party connections/permissions. Revoking access stops future API access. Existing Gold Boss Academy events already written to your calendar may remain until removed by you or by an available cleanup action.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • create, secure and administer your account;
  • provide courses, tools, live sessions, replays, community and support;
  • determine and maintain membership or complimentary-access eligibility;
  • process or reconcile payments, renewals, cancellations, refunds or claims with payment providers;
  • send service, account, calendar, live-session and reminder communications;
  • operate referral and affiliate tracking where applicable;
  • prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access;
  • diagnose errors and improve the reliability and usability of the platform; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5. How information may be shared

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information only as reasonably necessary with:

  • service providers that help us host the platform, send email, provide security, process payments, deliver communications or operate other technical infrastructure;
  • payment providers to process or reconcile membership transactions;
  • broker or partner systems where you choose broker-linked complimentary access and the information is necessary to establish, verify or maintain that access;
  • professional advisers or authorities where required to comply with law, protect rights, investigate fraud or address security issues; and
  • a successor entity in connection with a lawful merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, subject to applicable privacy obligations.

Google user data is subject to the additional restrictions described in Section 3 above.

6. Payments and broker-linked access

Paid membership transactions may be processed through third-party payment providers. Those providers may collect payment information under their own privacy terms. Gold Boss Academy may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, subscription details, email information and related records needed to activate or manage access.

If you choose complimentary membership through a recommended broker arrangement, we may process the information needed to confirm whether the eligibility requirements for that access are met. Gold Boss Academy does not hold or control money in your broker account.

7. Cookies and technical data

We may use cookies, local storage, session identifiers and similar technologies for login sessions, security, preferences, analytics, referral attribution and core site functionality. Some are necessary for the service to work correctly.

You may be able to control some cookies through your browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the member portal from working.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including account administration, access history, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting and legal compliance.

OAuth tokens and Google connection records are retained only while needed to maintain the connected feature or satisfy legitimate security/legal requirements. When a connection is revoked, we stop future Google API access and delete or invalidate connection credentials as reasonably practicable.

You may request deletion of your Gold Boss Academy personal data by contacting support@goldbossacademy.com. We may retain limited records where required by law, for security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution or enforcement of legal rights.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. These measures may include access controls, secure transport, protected credentials, logging and other safeguards appropriate to the service.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account password and devices secure and for notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of certain personal information. You may also object to or withdraw consent from certain processing where consent is the legal basis.

You can update many account preferences directly in the member portal. You can unsubscribe from non-essential marketing communications using the available opt-out method. Service and security messages may still be sent where necessary to operate your account.

For Google Calendar, you can disconnect or revoke the integration as described in Section 3.

11. International processing

Gold Boss Academy and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate protections for international transfers of personal information.

12. Children

Gold Boss Academy is primarily intended for adults. Broker-linked trading features and brokerage accounts are intended only for persons who meet the broker's applicable age and eligibility requirements. We do not knowingly use Google Calendar integration to collect information from children in violation of applicable law.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, integrations or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when we make changes. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request renewed consent before using personal information for a materially different purpose.
